It had been... an odd week. Zack had been acting odd. Very odd. Thankfully the crisis that came up wasn't a Power Rangers crisis, and Zack handled it just fine. But he hadn't handled it like Zack. He had talked his way through, but not in a Zack way. And pulled out some sweet skills that were more Billy's general way of dealing with a problem than Zack's. And that wasn't all.
He had told someone a story to calm them down about a friend named Ben Song. A friend he seemed... very close to from the story. A friend Billy had never heard of before. And there was more... Zack being overheard talking to himself sometimes during the week, like he was having a conversation.
And then within a half hour of the crisis passing, Zack begged out of the celebration that followed, saying he wasn't feeling well.
It was Billy who was the only one he confided in after. That he had no memory of the past week. None whatsoever. But he was having odd dreams he couldn't remember after he wok up except for a man with black hair and dark eyes and stubble.
That was it. All the clues Billy had to something weird. Zack remembering nothing about the week he was acting oddly, Zack's vague memories, and the name Ben Song.
